——在联合国成立80周年框架下启动-全球可持续发展“地球家园”示范评选机制
【和通社讯 驻北美高级记者 钟将岩 亚太新闻中心 王天剑】在联合国成立80周年纪念活动框架下，为系统推进《联合国2030年可持续发展议程》，落实联合国大会关于“人与自然和谐共生”及《未来契约》（Pact for the Future）等相关全球共识，由联合国环境规划署（UNEP）主要非政府组织——世界和谐基金会（The World Harmony Foundation, WHF）牵头，正式启动“共建地球家园、树立人与自然和谐典范”全球可持续地球家园示范评选机制。
联合国80周年庆典NGO组委会与来自五大洲的联合国大使、政要、民间组织领袖、科学家等在联合国总部欢聚一堂，并发起“全球可持续地球家园示范范例”评选行动并组成组委会。
The NGO organizing committee for the UN 80th Anniversary Celebrations, along with UN ambassadors, dignitaries, NGO leaders, scientists, and others from five continents, gathered at the UN headquarters to launch the “Sustainable Development of Our Planet: Exemplary Models” selection campaign and form an organizing committee.
该机制联合多位曾长期在联合国系统任职的高级官员，以及来自生态环境、气候变化、生物多样性、水资源与土壤保护等领域的国际科学家、院士、学者及非政府组织代表，共同组成国际评选委员会。委员会计划以年度机制，从全球五大洲遴选在生态保护、绿色发展与可持续治理方面具有代表性的实践案例，为全球可持续发展提供可复制、可推广的参考范式。
2025年度12月28日评选工作已进入最终阶段。来自不同国家和地区的国际专家，依据统一标准，对多个候选城市和区域开展了系统、独立和严格的综合评估。评选结果显示，中国四川省广元市剑门关蜀道景区（翠云廊）在生态保护制度创新、文化遗产保护与可持续利用等方面表现突出，成为中国首个入选案例，并被联合国成立80周年相关非政府组织联合机制授予“2025年全球可持续地球家园示范范例”称号。
该荣誉由广元市剑门关蜀道景区管理委员会代表接受。本次评选由多位在联合国非政府组织体系内具有长期专业经验的国际评审共同完成，体现了评选程序的专业性、独立性与国际公信力。
长期以来，广元市剑阁县在生态文明建设、自然保护和可持续旅游发展方面，持续落实联合国相关决议和国际倡议。在继承中国历史上关于生态保护的制度传统基础上，当地形成并完善了包括古树离任交接、“一树一档”登记、“一树一人”巡护及“一树一策”科学养护在内的系统性保护机制，为历史文化景观的长期保护提供了制度保障。
剑门关蜀道景区（翠云廊）作为世界范围内保存较为完整的古代道路与生态景观复合遗产，其“道路与自然共存、人与自然协同”的发展理念，与联合国可持续发展目标高度契合，体现了文化遗产保护与生态系统保护协同推进的实践路径。
相关实践表明，“生态文明”理念和“人类命运共同体”理念，在地方层面的具体落实，有助于推动区域协调发展，并为落实2030年可持续发展议程及其17项可持续发展目标提供现实经验。

On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the United Nations and the comprehensive advancement of the “Future Initiative” for global sustainable development goals, the Jianmen Shu Road (Cuiyun Corridor) has been unanimously recognized by the “Earth Home” Example Award experts for its outstanding achievements and exemplary value in the protection of ancient and famous trees, officially winning the “Earth Home” Example Award. The experts highly commended this ancient Shu Dao for showcasing the Eastern wisdom of harmonious coexistence between humans and nature, considering it a valuable reference for global ecological civilization construction.
The Jianmen Shu Road (Cuiyun Corridor) currently preserves 7,803 ancient trees, including 7,778 ancient cypresses, with an average age of 1,050 years and the oldest tree exceeding 2,300 years. It is acclaimed by the scientific community as the “Wonder of Shu Dao” and a “Living Fossil of Forests.” The experts particularly noted that the preservation of this green heritage is attributed to unique institutional traditions dating back to the Ming Dynasty in China, such as “officials and civilians being prohibited from cutting trees” and the “handover of trees and seals” system. Building on these ancient practices, the local area has innovated the “handover of ancient cypresses upon leaving office” system, along with a comprehensive protection mechanism that includes “one tree, one file” tagging, “one tree, one person” daily patrols, and “one tree, one strategy” scientific rescue plans. These measures demonstrate systematic and sustained ecological protection wisdom.
The experts believe that the Jianmen Shu Road (Cuiyun Corridor) is not only a remarkable example of large-scale ecological protection and road greening projects in ancient China but also a perfect fusion of artificial planting and natural growth. Its sustainable development philosophy of “coexistence of the road and trees, symbiosis of humans and nature” aligns closely with the sustainability goals advocated by the “Earth Home” Example Award. As the best-preserved example of an ancient global road heritage with the most successful practices in protection and utilization, the Jianmen Shu Road (Cuiyun Corridor) vividly embodies the philosophical concept of “harmony between humans and nature.”
Notably, the experts emphasized in their review that the Jianmen Shu Road (Cuiyun Corridor), with its unparalleled historical continuity, cultural inclusiveness, engineering excellence, ecological rarity, and dynamic inheritance, fully presents a harmonious landscape shaped by long-term interaction between humans and nature. Throughout history, literary figures such as Li Bai left timeless works like “Hard Is the Way to Shu,” elevating the site into a spiritual symbol of Chinese culture and showcasing wisdom in cross-temporal civilizational dialogue and coexistence.
The “Earth Home” Example Award experts ultimately concluded that the Jianmen Shu Road (Cuiyun Corridor) fully meets the award criteria. Its protection practices not only provide an innovative paradigm for world heritage conservation but also contribute Chinese solutions to building a community of life for humans and nature, making it a well-deserved recipient of the “Earth Home” Example Award.
